Synchronicity

He said, “Look, people are allowed their own opinions and they don’t always coincide with yours. As an artist you just have to keep plugging on.”

 Paul McCartney

I remember standing on top of the boathouse while my dad’s friend shot of rockets down by the Lake Anna shoreline. In a moment of synchronicity, I just happened to click the shutter before the rocket entered the frame at the very same time the firework launched straight up in the distance.

Curiosity and experimentation are what drove this photograph. Imperfect, but nonetheless, I love this shot.
