Seemingly Insignificant Little Ducks

“Take the time to observe the simple and ponder upon the seemingly insignificant. You’ll find a wealth of depth and beauty.”
― Melanie Charlene
One of the overlooked animals in the Bosque del Apache are the wide assortment of ducks. Why I always seem to say “wide assortment” before saying “ducks” is a mystery to me, but suffice it to say there are a LOT of ducks here in an assortment of styles and colors.
In some ways I find them more difficult to photograph. Smaller, a bit shyer than the big birds waltzing around in the limelight. I’m making a point of paying closer attention to these little feathered miracles. Promise.
