Rabbit Antenna

“A lifetime may not be long enough to attune ourselves fully to the harmony of the universe. But just to become aware that we can resonate with it – that alone can be like waking up from a dream.”
– Brother David Steindl-Rast
This remarkable little rabbit entertained me over the course of three different photo “sessions” in Taos last week. Although she could have easily darted away in a split second, there was a palpable feeling of kinship with this creature. Always starkly aware (to the point of having eyes in the back of her head), she was a curious and ease-filled teacher during a time of deep and reflective work.
When was the last time you were fully in harmony with a warm and wild creature? What was it like for you, and what did you learn?
