The Numinous Edge

I’ve been touched by the numinal while eating dessert and comforted with its presence while singing a lullaby to my dying stepfather. The divine is present in all things but you must be willing to let go of assumptions of what beauty is. Allow it to define itself in light of the edge that it rests against. Sometimes beauty is so transparent the ego is startled into submission. More often than not, the divine simply sits waiting quietly, for us.
